Directions
Tinkers Nest is easy to get to from anywhere. We're about 10 minutes from Providence and an hour from Boston and the Cape. There is free parking in our lot directly across the street, as well as free on-street parking.
From Providence: Take Interstate 195 East toward Massachusetts, Newport RI. You'll go past seven RI exits and enter into Massachusetts. Take exit 2 (route 136 south) into Warren RI. Follow 136 south into Warren. Follow the signs to 136 North (when entering Warren, rte. 136 S/N become one way streets) Tinkers Nest is about 1 mile on the right, about 500 yards past the second traffic light. Look for the 'Irish Pub' sign, and don't forget that our parking lot is across the street on the left.
From Boston: Follow directions from Providence if taking 95 South. Alternatively, take route 24 south off of 128 south. When you enter Rhode Island, take the Mount Hope Bridge exit , follow signs to route 136 North (Metacom Avenue).
From Newport: Route 114 or 136 north to route 24 north to the Mount Hope Bridge.
495 and points west: 495 south to 95 south to Providence.
Fall River and the Cape: Take 195 west to Exit 2 (route 136 south).
Northernwestern Rhode Island: Take 146 south to Providence.
